How does ePOD work?

When does DEFRA’s Digital Waste Tracking (DWT) become mandatory?
From October 2026 for permitted/licensed receiving sites. Expansion to other operator groups follows after testing.
What does DWT actually require from us?
Consistent digital records of movements: who, what, when, where — e.g., producer/site, origin, destination+permit, carrier+licence, vehicle reg, LoW/EWC, quantity, timestamps, signatures, attachments.
What if the tip/receiver is still on paper?
Show the QR or print/email the PDF e-docket. You keep the digital trail today; the receiver can adopt CSV/JSON when ready.
Do we need to change our weighbridge?
No. Enter ticket numbers manually or via CSV/API; we auto-match and flag exceptions.
